Innards remain mostly stock. A deleted speedometer gives me code-42 (no-speedo signal) which actually shaves off some acceleration and a smidge of top-speed (around 4mph). This may actually improve MPG, but I'm not sure yet. Either way, I plan to be rid of code 42 eventually, but fortunately, the bike is still quite suitable as a work commuter, even so. Changed out front wheel (to 14" spoke)/shocks, rear shocks, engine-fan, some nuts and bolts, handle-bars, added pegs. Speedometer/Odometer is currently inactive. I am nailing down a new routine to track via GPS, so I've lost about 2000 miles worth of fuel-tracking (approaching 7000 miles total). I have a handful of receipts and trip reports I have to catch up with. Ulysses Speedometer Pro may by the best way; I am just trying to verify if I can still rely on the phone-odometer, among other things. May just end up switching to trip-meter tracking; but I do still need to track overall-mileage for maintenance intervals. I am basically modifying the Zuma 125 to be better suited for its perceived purpose: as an all-purpose commuter, including trails. I may brave it through some jumps, but not yet. The GPS tracking became essential, as I began to deviate from the stock front-wheel/tire-size. The slight drop in MPG up to this point, is most likely false, as I went from a 120 to a 130 front tire, which meant the odometer recorded less mileage than it should have. Now, I have a 14" wheel (stock was 12") and decided it'd be best to rely solely on GPS, for accuracy's sake ; at least in the interim before I get a new speedometer/hub.

I noticed that my GPS actually tracks more miles than my odometer, right now. (I have a bigger tire in front than stock, for the last half a year or so.) So that explains the slight decline in average for the last 2-3 thousand miles.

First fuel-up in awhile. Very infrequently riding, with the cold weather. It's not snowing half as much as it should, but my legs are numb when I arrive at work in the morning regardless. Oh and yeah, the cold weather seems to kill my MPG a bit. Less willing to kill the throttle at lights; even idled and warmed it up before riding some.

Only commuted to and from work via Belleview/Cherry Creek Dam road. Belleview is a more direct route and has a higher speed-limit and less stops. There were no unusual traffic jams or anything like that. This is also my first tank with my new tires. Hidenau K58s (140/70/12 & 130/70/12).

This was my Quincy/Stop-sign with extra stop-lights, minimal traffic tank. Tried to kill the engine at lights when I could.
