Odyssey Oil Change Notes: When doing an oil change: 1. Fully Synthetic must be used. 2. 0W-20 oil type HONDA did First few oil changes with Conventional Oil Change 0W-20 and then switched to 0W-20 Fully Synthetic oil change with an 8 oz additive into the engine oil made by a company called BG. Now, June 25 2019, and going forward- WE must use FULLY SYNTHETIC OIL 0W-20 oil for oil changes going forward. The additive is not required.. but we can add it if we want. If we have oil change done at Acura or someone else, the additive we don’t have to do it but Fully Synthetic we have to do it.
