Audi Emission fix carried out (software update). Ashley was the representative. I also asked them to fix the driver base seat plastic trim which they acknowledged was not put right (since the base seat was changed). I also asked to look at any possible TPI for the S-tronic gearbox. Ashley said that they found and applied a software update to the S-tronic gearbox and to monitor it. Ashley gave me an Audi bag with car cleaning products in it. No charge was made for any of the above and no receipts was given as it was all under warranty.

The Haldex oil was changed in the car by Audi Sheffield. Please see previous note concerning Audi Sheffield did not state that the Haldex oil needed to be changed at the MOT even though they said the brake fluid needed changing.

Q3 went in today to Audi Sheffield to have the seat base changed for the second time to cure a seat squeak when body weight shifts horizontally. This was inspected by Audi Sheffield and test run with a mechanic and myself on 23 September 2016. I also enquired about when the Haldex oil needed changing. Chris the service manager dealt with me said it was 40,000 miles but he will check as I said the handbook says 30,000 miles and no one had warned me when I brought it in for the brake fluid and MOT doing. When I collected the car, I asked the service guy (not the manager) about when the Haldex oil needed changing. He went away and told me that it was every 30,000 miles. I said that I had it MOTed at end of August and Audi was happy to tell me that my brake fluid needed changing so why not the Haldex oil. He apologised and said that he will put a note on the system stating it was the dealers fault which will be printed out on the receipt when I get the Haldex oil changed. This is to cover me in case of a warranty claim and Audi says that it wont honour it because the Haldex oil was not changed to schedule.

Q3 went in today to Audi Sheffield to have the seat base inspected for the second time to cure a seat squeak when body weight shifts horizontally. Took a mechanic out for a test run and he agreed that the seat base was squeaking badly. It was just outside of warranty but they agreed to change it without cost to myself. The proviso is that if it happens again, then the cost will be to me as there are no TPI on this defect. The warranty manager (Luke?) said that if it happens again then there may be a TPI by then so to come and check anyway. The car was booked in for the seat base change on 11 October 2016.

Took the Audi in to the dealer (JCT3000 Meadowhead) to get the steering wheel alignment sorted as it was off to the right since the cruise control was fitted. Also to see what the problem was concerning the jerky DSG gearbox under certain conditions. The steering was put right but they couldn't find a fault with the DSG. They have sent of a note to Audi to see if they could suggest anything. I quoted them a TPI 2035627/5 which I picked up on Audi Q3 Forums but it wasn't relevant to my chassis number. All this was done under warranty.

Driving back from Manchester last night. Hit standing water Fiddlers Elbow/Ringinglow Road. Under tray scrapping along ground. Pushed up under tray and reattached the following morning as it had dried. Got it checked by Audi Sheffield. They said nothing was wrong.

Noticed windscreen scratch in an arc when I was travelling to Manchester airport as it was the first sunny day Id driven it since the service. Ive not used the wipers since the service either. The arc was approx 12 inches long, off centre to the drivers side and was not in the angle of the wipers. Phoned Audi Sheffield at the airport but they denied any knowledge. I asked whether they could do anything and they said to bring it down sometime. I have to ring in the morning on the day I bring it over for them to look at.
