Parted ways @ 142K miles. Manual Transmission, Opened airbox, Esslinger underdrive pulley, s/r borla muffler/Eibach springs, 90's escort 19mm RSB, 205/55R15 tires. High 15-second 1/4 mile.
Always used synthetic - 5w-30 Mobil 1 oil or occasionally Royal Purple.
Overall an inexpensive and fairly reliable car. It was fun to drive, didn't have much sound insulation, and had uncomfortable seats.
