Drove from Palm Bay to Dandridge. Set cruise control at 73 mph. Had a good 10 mph tail wind. Drove through a down pour for 30 minutes near St. Augustin. Speeds were down to 30 mph with hazards on. Hit another down pour in South Carolina. Again, speeds were down to 30 mph. Averaged 25.3 mpg until I headed west on I 26 where the hills took there toll. I had slowed down to 65 mph to try and keep the avg mpg above 25. It was 2am in the morning. Very little traffic.

Drove from Dandridge to Connecticut. Used cruise control set to 5mph over speed limit. Truck indicated avg mpg at 25.3. Refill may be a gallon or two short. Pump cut off at $100. Fuel guage indicates a full tank.

Dandridge Tennessee to Ionia Michigan. 70mph cruise control. Rolling the hills. I got 26.1 mpg on the highway portion. Fuel economy dropped to 25.2 after 4 days in and around Ionia.

Drove to Hiawassee Georgia and back. Also, in and around Hiawassee for two days. A bit of back and forth in Dandridge. I switched to 87 octane to see the impact on fuel economy. I forgot to input my last fuel up. The mpg reading from the truck was 24.4. Its usually within .2-.5 mpg of hand calculation.

Brought my tire pressure back to 48 psi. Drove to Charlotte and back. Took the fuel efficient route there. Interstate back. Drove 60-65 mph. Rolled the hills. No cruise control. AVG approximately 26 mpg over the 450 miles round trip. Avg dropped about as I burned the rest of the tank in and around Dandridge and Morristown Tennessee. Tire pressure at 42 PSI gives a nice ride but fuel efficiency suffers a bit. I'll probably drop pressure to 45 psi.

Drove to Greensboro and back. Used cruise control. 77 mph out. 70-75 mph back. It snowed on the way out. It was cold. 25 degrees. Tire pressure is low due to cold temps. I need to bring pressure back up to 48 psi.
