Got myself on some non-ethanol blend gas and used some tricks (shifting into neutral at stops and so on), plus a different route home from work to get better gas mileage. Note - this is entirely rush hour traffic in Los Angeles. 26 MPG combined in such conditions is amazing, and only about 5-6 mpg worse than a tiny econobox. The car seems to get better as it breaks in.
