Regular fill-up. Continuing to use "no ethanol" gas. Trying to do a few more things to make my fuel economy even better- shuting down engine at long lights where I can see the opposing signal (start engine when the opposing light turns yellow), checking fluids at each fill-up, etc. Noticed colant slightly below the "LOW" mark on reservoir during this fill-up. Will need to get that corrected. Total miles: 77,188.

Regular fill-up. Employer paid for most of this fill-up. Apparently has a $50 limit on the company gas card. I hit $50, then the pump shut off and refused to pump any additional fuel. Swiped my own card for the remaining .406 gallons it took to fill it all the way up. I have combined the two receipts' pumping totals into one for the purposes of this entry. Total miles: 76,344.

Regular fill-up. My boss paid for this one. Continuing to buy from "100 % Gas, No Ethanol" stations, this time the ExpressWay. Best fuel mileage since Oct. 2, 2010. Perhaps there's something to this "No Ethanol" stuff.

Regular fill-up. This fill-up took place at the Carr gas station in my hometown, which advertises "NO ETHANOL IN OUR GAS." Decided to try this to see if it impacts fuel economy after a couple of tankfuls. Doesn't hurt that this station is usually cheaper than my usual haunts by a couple cents.

Employer paid for this fill-up. 70,354 miles. Possibly last full tank on stock Continental Contitrac front tires-- ordered new Michelin LTX M/S to match the ones that were on the rear axle when I bought the truck 55,000 miles ago. The LTXs still look awesome, so figured should get same for front.
