90 hours. Replaced bashed clutch cover - Hinson Billetproof Clutch Cover Top end rebuild - Cylinder bore was in good shape, cross hatching very defined, small amount of superficial scoring from piston side skirts, piston was visually fine, but teflon coating on side skirts was worn out. No vertical play in the crank/conrod Replaced piston, rings, pin, cotter springs - OEM Replaced head gasket, base gasket - Tusk Replaced timing chain - OEM, old chain was not noticeably stretched Removed intake valves - left valve was totally trashed, completely beat into the seat and worn out Cylinder head machine work from CRFsonly.com Disassemble and inspect head. Complete head reconditioning which includes not just cleaning the head but also meticulous soda blasting to remove power-robbing carbon deposits in intake and exhaust ports. Solution clean head and inspect valve seats and guides and replace as necessary Professional valve seat cutting using state of the art NEWEN CNC valve seat cutting machine. For added performance we perform a proprietary CNC port to valve seat profiling and blending for increased performance. 85:52 hours 11 hours since last valve adjustment, now won't start. 0mm valve clearance on left intake valve. Replaced 1.30mm shim with 1.20mm, the thinnest shim possible. Still 0mm valve clearance afterwards. But it will start now. It's not long for this world.

75 hours, winter maintenance 2023/2024 - Rebuilt fuel petcock - Inspected and cleaned spark plug - pretty sooty - Inspected wheel bearings - smooth - Checked valve clearances: Intake (left): 0.0mm!! Intake (right): 0.14mm Exhaust (left): 0.15mm Exhaust (right): 0.13mm - Existing valve shims: Intake (left): 1.60mm Intake (right): 1.62mm Exhaust (left): 2.15mm Exhaust (right): 2.25mm - New valve shims: Intake (left): 1.30mm Intake (right): 1.55mm Exhaust (left): 2.00mm Exhaust (right): 2.10mm - New valve clearances: Intake (left): 0.16mm Intake (right): 0.18mm Exhaust (left): 0.28mm Exhaust (right): 0.27mm - Inspected auto decompression clearance - in spec - Checked cam chain tensioner - only 4mm of adjustment left! - Installed manual cam chain tensioner - Cleaned air box - Greased steering head bearings - nearly dry! - Cleaned carburetor - huge amounts of sand completely seized the accelerator pump push rod (due to throttle cover missing)! Accelerator pump O-ring mod was cracking and about to fail. - Rejetted Existing: 165 main jet New: 162 main jet Replaced accelerator pump O-ring with thicker O-ring - pump s quirt timing is now correct - Replaced carb overflow fitting - Fabricated bracket, installed speedometer, adjusted odometer to reflect estimated engine hours and mileage - Trail Tech Endurance II, 1555 miles, 75 hours - Replaced engine start switch - Tusk - Installed new grips - Scott Deuce - Cleaned kill switch contacts - Installed handguards - Cycra Pro Bend Ultra HCM with solid threaded bar end inserts - Fabricated bracket, installed USB charger on triple clamp, connected SAE cable to battery - Installed folding brake/clutch levers - Tusk - Installed removable mirror mounts - Doubletake RAM Mounts - Installed low profile front turn signals on hand guards - Installed custom dual sport wiring harness - Tusk Universal Harness with modifications, wired to OEM tail light wires, LED blinker relay - Installed turn signal switches on handlebars - Fabricated custom removable Gopro mount license plate bracket - Performed leakdown test - 2% leakage total, all through piston rings. Valves are airtight - Painted valve cover, exhaust heat shield, and radiator braces - VHT Roll Bar Satin Black - Installed radiator braces - Flatland Racing wraparound braces - Fabricated engine case protection on ignition and clutch covers - Holstex .120" Thermoformed Plastic - Polished exhaust header with red Scotchbrite and Tarnite - Sanded rear brake pads - Inspected swingarm and linkage bearings - sufficiently greased - Added antiseize to chain tensioners - Replaced air filter - Twin Air Foam with PC Filter Skin - Replaced clutch basket - Hinson Momentum Clutch Basket - Changed engine and transmission oil - Shell Rotella T6 5W-40, OEM filter - Installed LED headlight - Baja Designs Squadron Sport A/C with combo lens - Replaced all plastics - UFO and Acerbis, OEM headlight shroud

55 hours - Replaced ignition cover side case with new OEM - Removed side case chunks from inside crankcase - Changed engine and transmission oil: Shell Rotella T6 for both, OEM oil filter - Deep cleaned carburetor, including midbody, replaced all gaskets and O-rings - Adjusted accelerator pump, added O-ring mod - Changed jetting: 165 main jet, 45 pilot jet, JD needle - Replaced spark plug (old spark plug incredibly sooty) - Replaced both radiators: Tusk radiators - Added new coolant (did not flush overflow): Honda HP Coolant - Bled rear brake
