figured mpg for a trip with just 4wd and 4lo (to the best of my ability) was 10.5 mpg during jeep class: steep grades (up and down) of upwards of 35-40% grade, deep sand, negotiating deep cracks, water fording of 5-7 inch depth, and tire pressure reduced to 26 psi. 13 miles of driving with some idling too. brake assist on regularly.
