New carb fitted and with adjusting etc. sure mpg went through the sealing. Keen to see what mpg I can expect with the new carb. She runs like a champ now.

Damn expensive gas Station and no other open last fuel up with the old to poor running carb. The new 4130 autoline carb is allready in the trunk and ready to fit.

New carb is ordered, but it'll be the original Autoline 4350, keen to see the influence on the mpg and sure the running itself. It's a pity the fitted Holley carb is an industrial and she run to poor with it. Mixture adjustment impossible, because this is sealed by factury and open that is a pain in the... So protecting this perfect running 460 engine I brought a new carb and I'm waiting that it arrives here.

I found a gas station with selfservice , that means pay by terminal and 20 € Cent cheaper a liter, than the gas station in our home town

Waiting for Holley which new carburator they'll recommand me, because what was fitted in Redlands is a industrial Holley carb, which works, but runs too poor and ain't adjustable in the gas - air mixture, sealed from the factory and not changeable.

Friday the automatic chocke starts to make drouble, it doesn't switch off. That might have an influance on the gas consumption.

Oestern is coming so gas Prices rose here in Germany, sorry but if I could pay 2.25 a gallon my everyday car would be a 1976 or so Cadillac Eldorado with the 500cui or F250 with the 460cui in it.
