Nov 12 2012

One source of bad fuel economy has been discovered: dragging brakes. These will be fixed soon, but will still have a negative effect on the next fill up too.

I have no idea why the fuel economy is looking this bad. I've caught the speedometer sticking at 0 sometimes and I'm not sure if the odo is stopping at the same time...if so it would account for a few kilometres lost, at least. I suspect that's just the gauge though, so the odometer should be fine. I have done some pretty aggressive testing of my transmission shifting so perhaps putting the pedal down more is what's skewing the numbers.
