added one quart of Mobil high mileage 10w30 I got from Walmart at Speedway. was actually down three, bought two but only added one. check oil light came on yesterday briefly.

engine started misfire on way into work on 68 near Vancrest, check engine light came on flashing, parked at Jeff's Automotive and they checked it out. blown spark plug, replaced that and ignition wire. Also checked fuel tank - it is rusted through and has a leak. Called Springhills, TJ has one and can fix it.

Urbana Valvoline - new practice, they let you stay in your car while they change oil! They advised upper radiator hose needs replaced as it is bulging and spongy (probably from sitting on outerbelt gridlock two weeks ago in Columbus), $20 discount on high mileage service. Got Amy's son Nick to replace the hose a few days after that as he works at Advance and was able to do it in the parking lot.

Brake line blew about 3 p.m. on 5/3/16 on way back to office from DQ so pulled it into Jeff's. He kept it two days. also observed coolant leak but couldn't find where it was coming from. They had some trouble with brakes on test drive but were able to replace entire line. Parts $97.40, labor $416.52. New counter chick is Miriam, very nice manners.

Firestone Springfield with discount, 10W30 4.5 quarts, on Discover card. Parts 18.15 Labor 4.83 normally oil filter 4.99 oil 25.00 recycling charge 2.99 labor 5.00 but promotion discounted $11.84 on parts and $3.16 on labor.

Flat tire when I went to leave work at 4 p.m.. Took it over to Clayton, it had metal in it. They patched for $12.
