had to replace cylinder head too, had bent valves. ordered from cylinder heads international, installed and re-timed; melted water outlet housing from running hot. replaced water outlet and gaskets, flushed coolant system

tore top half of motor off to replace cam tower gasket sets (includes cam to block, cover to cam, power steering pump gasket, etc) because of an oil leak, had to remove timing chain and gears, motor mounts, etc. hopefully mileage will be better once we get it put back together
