I should make note, that the GVW of the empty SC2 should be ~2900 pounds. In driving thru a weight station, with my 280 pound self in the car, it only weighed 2875 pounds. The cars suspension seems very stiff, the engine has a secondary stabilizer(top), and the car has a draft. I suspect that before I bought this car, the previous owner ripped all the internal insulation out, and took out whatever else he could. Without ripping into it, it's close to 350 pounds lighter than it should be, so maybe one day, I can find where he cut 350 pounds without affecting the interior too much(other than that pesky cold air draft).
