So I've been getting like 10 mpg better than my old car, a 2008 M3... AND I honestly believe the BRZ is more fun swinging around town than the M3. You sit nice and low, and get more feel from the tires, steering, seat-of-the-pants, and engine vibration (which I like). The only thing better on the M3 is the luxury and its wonderful engine's sound and POWER. But it was just too big. Maintenance and insurance were expensive as well. The M3 is an excellent sportsSEDAN that still felt out of this world every-time I drove it. But the BRZ feels like a sportsCAR, more like the Lotus Elise I had a few years ago while being just about as practical as I need. The Lotus was too small, bare-bones, and showy for an only-car; the M3 was too big. Plus it's been fun having to actually check the oil on my car. The M3 just had a screen to check, which resulted in a dealership's warranty oil change having to be redone three times because they couldn't get it at the proper level.
