The dealer supplied Castro’s LF3 Liquid Moly 5W30 was viscosity impacted and noisy within 6000km, (in Australia in tropical North Qld, Subaru dealers use 0W40 in Forester XTs; our Summer temperatures and humidity match North Qld so swapped to using Shell Helix Ultra 0W40 and car is much nicer sounding both hot and cold and it removed a lot of mechanical noise, sounds more turbine like, now. ( as it should)
