Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus 235/45R17 Continued pinging under load 2-3K RPM. Pinging has also begun to occur at constant throttle on flat ground 2500 RPM in 6th gear. Toyota engineer claims this is normal and harmless. Dealer was able to reproduce pinging under load with one of their new cars on the lot. The factory tune is clearly flawed but they will not acknowledge it. Early FR-s and BRZ had similar issues resulting in several engine failures before the reflash was made available to dealers.
