Driving back from William Woods, alarm sounded, check engine light, and VSC light came on. Drove straight to Machens. Diagnostics determined that water pump for hybrid system not working properly. Replaced, $461.93 parts & labor after applying $100 coupon from mailer. For a few months before this happened, battery would frequently drop 2 (and sometimes even 3) bars shortly after starting to drive if car hadn't been driven for a while. Summer gas mileage in city this year usually under 40. Maybe because of this problem? While there, had them do 70,000 inspection.
