Unbelievably high 85mpg recorded on trip from Mpls to North Shore and back. Friend MVB paid for gas and is certain that we only filled twice during the trip: once at the beginning and a second time at the end. I didn't pay for any gas. If this is true, the whole trip (420 miles or so) used only about 5.5 gallons of gas. Other '09 Prius owners have recorded up to 90mpg on some tanks, so this is not entirely out of line.
