I took the 5-N to the 46-E to get to the Central Coast (i.e. San Luis Obispo county). Bad idea. Not only did I drive mostly on an incline all the way, driving back to Los Angeles on the 101-S is a lot of uphill driving too. Basically driving uphills roundtrip and killing MPG at the same time. Filled up at the 1 notch mark somewhere in Santa Barbara.
