The temperature in California has dropped quite a bit lately. I have noticed that the main contributing factor to lower mpg is temperature. Everything else has remained pretty much the same.

South of Missoula, Montana to Twin Falls, Idaho area via 93. Beautiful drive and car handled very nice along winding roads that followed the river. I liked the feel and handling of the 215/45/17 low profile tires. Much better handling than the Prius I rented this summer for a 5,000 mile trip I took with standard 15 inch wheels and tires. Warm weather.
