I only ever fill with 25 litres of fuel once the low fuel warning lamp glows. This bring the tank up to 1/2 full, a lighter fuel load. The nature of the slow commutes will do the car no justice with regard to its fuel economy.

25 litre refill regardless of price. Fuel warning light comes on around 140 miles later. Don't fill tank full, as too heavy.
