Free Reference Implementation: HHO Device

I have been driving 130 miles per day to work and back for more than 1 year with my civic and have been measuring my mpg average using manual compute and scan gauge II ... I could only get up to 40mpg running (150lbs driver only) running 65-70mph .... 4 months ago I started researching and building HHO device ... this one is now giving me 50+mpg ... and for readily available, cheap parts, too ...

Did you have to make any other mods, like EFIE or O2 sensor bungs or anything? How often do you fill the cell, that is how much water does it use over a given distance or time?

BEEF: yeah, somehow I jumped from your 200MPG in neutral to 'DFCO BABY!' and didn't realize you were talking engine on, missing the part with 'stay in gear....'. Sorry. Either way we're both saying the same thing.

As I recall, we do not have much required for new account creation security, nowhere near the requirements common for most other forums. As for not allowing new users to post links, v8buick.com does it; I joined up and tried to post pictures of my car and simply could not post any URL (even if I tried to prevent it from being made into a clickable link) or embed a picture. The same stuff would be very effective here.

For this Civic, I just made sure that the air intake direct to the engine manifold was open. For some reason, this civic comes with that covered by a rubber guide that was meant for air from the regular air intake.

So no sensor signal manipulators yet. My O2 sensor is wideband though.

I drive 500+ miles per week. I have to replace water once a week. Water comes from my house water well (not distilled).

My flashback arrestor is a water bubbler.
