problems with update
I went to fill up earlier this week and noticed the update and I couldn't even add a fill up from my iphone on the mobile website. Here's a couple of problems I've noticed:
1. Even tho I've got my setting on metric system, it ask me for miles since last fuel up. 2. It also wouldn't let me put a "," instead of a "."(most people use the point but the comma is still used in Europe and french part of Canada), that problem isn't only happening on the mobile site. 3. The slider to select how much city driving/highway driving you've made doesn't slide no matter what you do. Still on my iphone, I've tried to fill up from the full website and still had the slider problem. |
I tried to "add a note" and received an error. Also when adding fuel ups, I have to keep switching to the number board because the typewriter is coming up automatically. The mobile app used to just open the fuel up and was a single screen no scrolling Now I am getting the full siter
|
A few problems:
1) all my custom stats are gone, nothing shows up in that space now, looks like I may have to add them all in again? 2) none of my fuel up notes show on the screen, get a symbol of some kind in their place 3) iOS app no longer loads, I get a page error |
I had an update problem this morning with my Android phone. The city/highway mileage selector was at 50% and could not be changed from the phone. This setting previously worked just fine.
I had to log on to the web site from a PC to edit to the correct city/hwy ratio, and even that seemed a bit flaky to use. |
I can not log in to fuelly using my iPhone app have to use full site through mr browser
|
My latest fuelups are registering on the charts.
|
I have lost the odometer readings in the "View all fill-ups" page. Getting a big NA.
It is quite worthless without this feature. |
wleuthold, sorry about that, I have fixed the problem.

MPG on log
Why doesn't the MPG show on the log? There is a problem with this update and you need to correct it!!!!
|
lefty815, you've set your 19th fuelup to a partial fuelup. Partial fuelups don't display the MPG for that fuelup and the following fuelup. See https://www.fuelly.com/faq/6/partial-fuelups
The old fuelly would have also not displayed the MPG for fuelups #19 and #20 |
I hope your software testers are working overtime
why didn't u test this properly?...now, people will begin to lose confidence that the site will even save their data...also, are our passwords etc securely stored? anyways, i love seeing my MPG using this site so i hope all the issues are fixed soon. :)

Please let us know if you continue to have troubles so we can get you logged in. The more specifics on what interface you are trying to login, browser, etc the better we will be able to help you resolve the problem. |

I cannot see the fuelup in the list to edit it and it only shows up in my dashboard, not the car page. |

All custom stats are gone. I tried to save them again and for a short time it seamed that they are saved, but later again are gone.
I logged in from a different IP (and computer) and the result was the same. This issue was noticed many days ago and still persists. |
When browsing vehicles, select Volvo, V70 - nothing newer than 2010 is shown? My own car is missing! I can add a fuel up and see it through my profile, but it's not browsable from the list?
|
On Windows phone, so no app, your ads are not responsive and are about 3 times the width of the page. This makes it very difficult to scroll as 2/3 of the width of most of the page is empty! It also seems to take a lot longer to load the new page.
Can we gave the UK date back for UK users, today is not 6th of the 19th month! Thanks |

UK users, could you please tell me where you are seeing a date that is not formatted properly?

On the left in the stat box, it shows 9.2 l/100km for my last fuelup. On the right in the text, it shows 834.09!! And my running average on my garage page shows 92.1. https://www.atomicalex.com/wp-content...06/fuelly3.png I cannot see this fuelup at all in my list. https://www.atomicalex.com/wp-content...06/fuelly2.png And my public profile page shows the info from the stat boxes. https://www.atomicalex.com/wp-content...06/fuelly4.png So... somehow, I have a rouge fuelup that is not always being processed for stats and is uneditable. I am using chrome, and this last fuelup was on 18.June. |
atomicalex, I will dig into your data today to see where that rogue fuelup is coming from.

odometer differences calculated incorrectly
I report to fuelly via SMS with odometer readings. The site is making a computational error. Vehicle log exhibiting error
https://www.fuelly.com/car/volvo/740/...rbombay/281251 The odometer reading for log entry 59 is 191244 miles. for long entry 60 the odometer reading is 191493. The difference is 249 miles, but the log is displaying 32 miles and thus computing the MPG as 2.3 MPG. |

Make the necessary corrections and this should correct your MPG. |

Stats fuel up datews are all the same and mpg does not show up anymore

I checked and see that you have 4 mini stats set up about an hour ago. Are you finding them to be working now? |
Quote:
I've manually added your vehicle to the Browse Cars section. Please confirm you can see it. Thanks! I'm slowly but surely adding all the "missing" models. I appreciate everyone patience. |
I see the problem now - non us market vehicles are missing, and volvo quit the v70 in the USA...
|
atomicalex, I have made a change to unhide your rogue fuelup. Fuelups greater than 4001 miles weren't displaying.
Now you can see fuelup #17 is excessive and you may edit it what it should be. |
Seconded......

what happen to the prius plugins
Why did you remove stats on Plugins?

Tracking miles not working

Quote:
https://www.fuelly.com/car/volkswagen...vjr/293710/log You're tracking via Odometer. The first entry will not calculate MPG data because it is your starting point. The second I show you marked as a Partial fill-up. When a fuel-up is marked as Partial, it and the following fill will NOT calculate MPG. Fuelly needs you to fill the tank up completely in order to accurately calculate your fuel mileage. More info in our FAQ: https://www.fuelly.com/faq/3/Why-do-I...all-the-way-up |
