The short of it is that entries with greater than 4,001 miles are being hidden. I see you entered yearly totals using one fuelup. I will see about getting those fuelups displayed on Monday.

ViperGuy 06-28-2014 08:26 PM

When I add a fuel up the stats are completely different from what i entered.
If I go to edit the fuel up it shows the correct info.
I even added 2 new cars with the same info to see if it would work but it does the same thing.

My other 2 work fine.

Thanks

Your first fuelup has an odometer of 211.2
Your second fuelup has an odometer of 95
Your third fuelup has an odometer of 272.5

It seems that your second fuelup is really your first. Your odometers need to be in the correct order and they aren't currently. If 95 is really your first fuelup, edit the second fuelup and change the date/time to be before you 211.2 odometer fuelup.

Those numbers are the miles for one tank of gas. I've never used my odometer reading for fuel ups all i use is the trip and it works fine for my other 2 vehicles. Sometimes I will miss a fuel up and using the odometer wouldn't be accurate.

Oh .. then your problem is that you have you car set to Odometer tracking. You need to edit the vehicle and change it to Trip Miles tracking. After doing that, edit your fuelups and set the correct miles.

Odometer is the default for a new vehicle. You must have missed changing that option when setting creating the car.

You marked the previous fuelup as partial. That fuelup and the following fuelup will not display an MPG because of that.

MPG After Partial Update

This doesn't seem to be working.
#54 was a partial fill up
#55 was done after an 11 week holiday and doesn't show UK MPG

# Date Miles Litres UK MPG Price City %
55 28/06/2014 167.00 51.96 _____ 1.299 50%
54 06/04/2014 167.00 11.83 _____ 1.289 50%
53 17/03/2014 310.00 64.08 21.99 1.289

The fuelup following a partial fuelup will also not display an MPG. See https://www.fuelly.com/faq/6/partial-fuelups for an explanation.

I need to learn to read.
Thanks for the help.
Love your site.

Puffin 06-30-2014 07:25 AM

Never noticed that previously!

lardconcepts 06-30-2014 08:01 AM

Not sure if this has been reported, but when I entered the decimal in the price wrongly, the red warning below the field was: validation.price_per_unit

probably just needs mapping to a language file or something..

I see on June 13th and June 15th you marked the fuel-up as a Partial-fill.
Because of this, MPG will not be calculated for each of those fill-ups or the full fill-up after. Back-to-back partials can get tricky so you'll likely need an additional fill-up before you see any data. This isn't anything new however. Nothing has changed from before the update.
Fuelly has always required you to fill the tank in order to accurately calculate your fuel mileage.
More info can be found in our FAQ: https://www.fuelly.com/faq/3/Why-do-I...all-the-way-up
I hope you're not going to throw in the towel just yet; and stick with us now that you know this isn't a bug but a necessity to calculate your data correctly.

No, I understand that partial fuel ups won't generate MPG stats.

My problem is that when entering from the mobile browser page, it said that the data was accepted, but then it doesn't show up as part of my stats. I did this a couple of times, but to no avail.

cobie56 06-30-2014 10:15 AM

Has anyone had problems login onto fuely? When i log in on my ipad using the fuely app it just spins and never logs on. Its only done this since fuelys last "improvement". Thanks

To be sure I'm following- Are you using m.fuelly.com?
You're adding a fuel-up but not seeing it reflect to your profile?
Can you try adding one now, screenshot the confirmation page, and then screenshot the entry missing from your logbook?
Thanks!

Please update GasTracker to the latest version (2.0.3 as of today) and let me know if you're still experiencing this issue.
Also, if you have already updated, then try deleting the app and reinstalling.
Thanks!

I can add data for my fuel-up on my Android, however pressing the "add fuel-up" button takes the cursur to the miles entry. Cannot add a fill-up.
Works fine in the web version.

greenwaymom 07-01-2014 03:26 PM

Using Firebox, website version. The slider bar for % of highway mileage will move, but an outline box appears to the right of the cursor when I click the bar, and moving the slider is jerky and inexact.

kylegarey 07-02-2014 07:46 AM

Login issue

The login with Facebook Dees not work. The link takes the users to the link with Facebook page. Also if you navigate to the forgot password page in the Android app there is a pop-up that the user can not close . the pop-up is un need in my point of view anyway because potential users are already on the site or have the app installed on their device.

Dauglos 07-02-2014 09:37 AM

Looks like the efficiency of Mazda 3s is being miscalculated on the page that lets you view all model years at once. 2014s get 32.4 mpg, 2013s get 32.1, and 2011s get 27.1, but 2012s get 18.9?

TinMan2 07-02-2014 10:43 AM

Can't find any Vino125 or 650 V-Strom motorcycle stats

I had a lot of like motorcycles listed and scooters but now it just says invalid search when I click on like vehicles. Miss that a lot!

violinii 07-02-2014 10:44 AM

Mobile Android app goes blank when trying to move the mileage slider. Will not allow me to add a fuel up unless I go to the full site version. Even then, it crashes as soon as you touch the mileage slider.

Looks like the Ninja 650R is still missing anything post 2009. I can fuel up my 2012 and it gives me all my details (works great!), but can't see it in the list of motorcycles. Error message "Invalid Model" shows. Corrections still under works?

A little more information would be helpful in assisting you...

Just going off the first vehicle in your garage-
https://www.fuelly.com/car/lexus/es35...Max/189405/log
Out of the last 3 fuel ups I show a duplicate entry was made on June 13th.
If your concern is why you have a blank/0MPG entry... that's why. Simply edit->delete one of the entries and it'll correct itself.
If something else was troubling you, please let us know in as much detail as possible so we can research it.

Missing Suzuki Alto's

Other people have mentioned similar things, but my specific is that Suzuki Alto's are only listed up to 2012.

I can see my 2014 Suzuki Alto but if I click on the "Browse Similar Vehicles" link for Alto's at the bottom of the page I get the error, "Invalid Model".

Thanks

Oops i think i got it figured out after looking at another thread. Found out the dashboard is an avg of the last 10 fillips while the L/100km after clicking on the car is the avg over all the fillips.

Missing pictures in my signature

I belong to www.fordfestiva.com and since the upgrade the Fuelly pictures in my signature have changed to two black squares with white Xs in them.

I added a new vehicle to my Garage. I have put in my data for a few fill ups, and notes ` but when I'm looking at my NOX it is showing that there have been no fillups or notes....

Don't see my fuel up and SLOW with ads

I just added a fuel up and it never appeared. Downloading all the ad links really slows down the site. I'm losing interest in fuelly in a hurry..

My stats read 54mpg, but my badge reads 45mpg!https://badges.fuelly.com/images/sig-us/277811.png

Is there a fix for this?

toyfan1 07-06-2014 04:37 PM

how about the weird email i received stating that i needed to update my 650cc motorcycle because fuelly thinks its a 250cc. i go to my account and all was in order? was still listed as a 650cc. my bike was not ever offered as a 250cc.

Your car does have a MPG of 45. Perhaps you are looking at the dashboard and seeing a higher number since that displays the avg of your last 10 fuelups. That feature is working the same as it was previously.

Can you describe the issue in more detail? I see 4 fuelups and 3 notes.

Field Validation problems

I am using a Verizon Motorola Razer running Android, using the "Fuelly App" to access the Fuelly mobile site. When trying to add a fill-up, the "gallons" field won't validate, as it jumps back to that field every time I hit the "add fuel-up" button. So, I have to go to the full-site on my phone and it will work there, but it takes considerably more time.

This was not an issue before the recent major update. Any ideas?

Thanks!

You are using m.fuelly.com? Are you using the default Android browser? When you press "Add Fuel-up", are you given an error message beneath the Gallons input box?

Most of my data is now wrong, price paid is incorrect, errors quanities and I assume because of this all the dashboards are showing weird data.

The three low prices for your recent fuelups are due to a bug in the SMS fuelup service, which has been resolved but the prices needed to be corrected manually. I have updated those. I will leave it up to you to change the fuelups with 1,279 and 118.90 values as those were brought over just as they were previously entered by you.
