I think the best bet is probably to email Ryan at rywire. He can most certainly tell you if your ECU is a CA model or not based on your ECU code.

I've only used OEM seals. The ones from Napa were shapped incorrectly.

That being said, the issue wasn't dings or nicks, but rather that I put the seal in incorrectly.
