It's larger but thinner, I think to accomodate the larger LCD screen. I will prolly go that option since I don't really carry any other electronics (except I will be carrying my dictionary in japan)...

My mom is making me pick which I want early...I gather the only real difference is that the 630 doesn't have the optical viewfinder. Does anyone who knows digital cameras have any opinions on these...
