CarloSW2 - you'll have to send that question directly to the SG people. I haven't checked to see if mine does that (I do know it shows 9999 mpg on the instant gauge in those circumstances.)

I'm guessing that's what you're seeing, but it would be nice to be able to compare it to when the car is "officially"...
