Ironically it also is the speed where my xB gets really good mileage also. Must be an engine load and gearing sweet spot. Next you pop it in neutral and coast down and rack up some extra mileage. BTW...

There seems to be a speed where it gets the best gas mileage like around 45mph at about 60mpg and the battery charges up to 80%

I don't get the coasting mode in the simulator...

I don't get the coasting mode in the simulator that I can actually do on the real car where with the right amount of gas input you don't use any gasoline or electric and the car just coasts.
