As long as you can get a tach signal or a VSS signal, it will work.

I believe that the warning in the CSS100 advertisement about it not working on Hondas has to do with the unit's long stroke...

I installed a CCS100 on my 87 civic DX 2 years...

I installed a CCS100 on my 87 civic DX 2 years ago and I am very happy with it.

You don't need to hook to the VSS- since you have a manual trans, the only signal the unit needs is the tach signal....
