I am out, The sable is gone for good. After replacing the motor in my moms windstar, it worked for 2 weeks then the tranny blew:eek:

So were getting rid of the POS and shes now the proud owner...

Its a ford windstar, she took a plane trip, came home 2 weeks later and started the van and that was it:mad: Kinda weird. It has like 170k on it.
Her local mechanic is going to get a junkyard...

I am out for now, the motor in my moms mini van blew up, so I am letting her drive the sable. Don't know for sure when I will get it back, it might be weeks?
So you will have to find a new team...

Yes the revs stay between 2000 and 3000 as long as the speed stays over 40mph. I tried to disconnect my air bypass or idle motor but the engine won't stay running. Once I get below 40mph I can use...

Used E 15 this tank, plus did at least 100 miles in the rain, had to have lights wipers and defrost on constantly.
