They do have them, but usually in more remote areas like on I-5 between LA and Sacramento. Probably do it there in an attempt to keep the drivers awake.

Your math is correct, but it is your odometer that you need to check the accuracy of. The speedo being off by 7% does not mean the odometer is off by 7%.
