I'm a proponent of biodiesel, but believe its higher temperature gelling over petro diesel is still an issue.

Ethanol may use a lot of water, but I bet that water is much easier to clean up than...

Are they counting the shale oil, which will be more expensive, energy intensive, and thus dirtier than the Canadian tar sands in their NA estimate?
