It's not accepted as normal in the US. It's only acceptable at all in places where the sewage treatment facility is designed to handle it and explicitly says so. Anywhere else it is likely to be a...

Places that let you pour it down the drain have sewage treatment plants that properly break it down. I have a septic system.

I checked the transfer station site...they're pretty good but they don't list antifreeze. I saw the ecarcenter site but it didn't help.
