And sadly the DC regulator is inside the Alternator so I have to change the entire thing out.

P.S. it acted up on the way home from work, so now it waits while the part comes in.

I went out to lunch (4 mile drive) and removed the grill block and everything appears to be behaving normally.

If I ever do overheat I would now be concerned that my altenator would burn out...

I have a 2004 Mits Galant ES 4 Cyl 2.4l

I did a partial grill block of the top grills and there was no impact,
the bottom grill (intake) I tried blocking and on my drive to work as I expected...
