I was just thinking... Try to get the rear end from either a Caprice wagon, or one with the police package. They had bigger brakes.

You might find one that tall in a locking rear from a Caprice or a Fleetwood.

I don't know if this makes any difference, but my truck has the locking rear end.

I run 70 PSI front & rear in my K1500, and don't have any traction problems.

The tires on Rusty... Well lest just say I bought them at Montgomery Ward. They're Michelin tires with good tread left, and there's no checking in the tires either. The truck rarely goes over 45...
