The goal for this tank was to measure the increase in MPG based on highway riding. However, the increase in MPG from highway riding were lost to an hour long session of stop-n-go traffic on city streets. Hence, the lower MPG even with 50% highway riding. This is NOT a good measure of the MPG on highway rides.
