Quite a few short city journeys in low temps. A country-ish ride improved my average mpgs a bit. I also noticed that the warmer temps improve consumption quite a bit. I think at its worsed the bike comp said 44. It finished on 51mpg.

Can't remember the riding for this fuel up but it was serviced and they must have kept the engine running for ages cos the mpg had gone down loads when I picked it up! Boosterplug now off at the mo and running standard AF. Bike comp said 48mpg.

Range figures will now improve as I top up tank as far as possible. Did some very economical b-road riding but city riding dragged it down. Bike comp said 56mpg.

Now decided to brim my tank from now on rather than stopping as soon as pump cuts out. Should be possible to get an extra litre in - hence economy looks lower than it actually was.

I think London riding with the booster plug eats fuel, particularly in low/mid temperatures. After 60miles of london riding it was down to 49mpg. 120miles later on motorways and A roads bike comp said it had gone up to 61mpg.

Pretty easy on the old wrist. Mostly A & B roads. The London riding I did inbetween A/B roads pulled the bike computer down to saying an average of 54mpg! By fill up and 120miles later bike comp said 64mpg.

Back to logging my fuel consumption. Half of this was in near zero degree temperatures in town and the rest was economical b-road riding. Clearly cold, stop start, city riding crucifies it.
