It does seem that the 02 sensors may have been misleading the ECU and negatively affecting the fuel consumption. Another fill may confirm this. We'll see.

Bypassed O2 sensors with 330 ohm resistors in an attempt to smooth out low/mid range constant throttle surging. It helped, but has it fixed it entirely? We shall see.

Replaced headlight globes with standard wattage high output ones. Better. Also purchased "No - cut Oggy knobs - yet to be installed.

This bike oozes QUALITY. It rides extraordinarily well. It feels like new. (Purchased with 92,130 Km on the clock). Hats off to the original owner. They treated it VERY well indeed. It is heavier than I wanted, but because of the nice pillion comfort for the other half, along with how well it rides, I think it will be a good thing... compared to the SV650 which was sadly written off : - (
