Aggressive riding with Meg *aero loss* combined to create very low fuel economy on this tank. Cool temperatures, traffic congestion *long idle times* and relatively short trips *less than 5mi* probably also contributed to lower fuel economy. I also allowed longer warm up times in the cool weather to reduce engine wear, further lowering the fuel economy on this tank.

Keeping it in 6th as much as possible to optimize fuel consumption. Windy conditions. Overcast 61 deg. Highway loop with interurban return. Mostly 50MPH, a little up at 64MPH, the rest at 35-40MPH.

Mixed Highway, Two high output bursts, one from rolling start at 20 to about 70 : audi A5S was trying to accelerate harder, so I left it in second gear and would the engine up, leaving him behind. Second burst on 405 north, to 124MPH for a few seconds. Otherwise rational normal for the rest of the tank.
