Boo Hoo, Howl Howl, Sob Sob. The Meerc is dead. Gearbox died and will cost £250 for a replacement, so it has gone to the great car park in the sky!!
Probably the best workhorse on the road. It drives absolutely spot on, which is only to be expected really. Car came with full MB service history and a wad of receipts that could have sunk a battleship!
Being an older style Mercedes Engine, it loves Veg Oil. Currently gets a minimum of 1 litre per fill up, however with the summer coming (although Wimbledon has yet to be rained off!) I am going to increase this to 5 litres per fill up. On longer motorway journey's the amount of Veg Oil can be increased to allow the whole journey to be completed on Veg Oil (which at 75p to £1 a litre is cheaper than Diesel).
