New pads fromAutozone, lifetime warranty, DG1456 which were in stock. New rotors from Rock Auto a year ago. Ant-seized caliper bracket bolts as they were only removable with a lot of heat. Those were 14mm triple squares.

Bought (4) 235/45/18 Passat factory wheels with Milestar tires, 2021 date codes. Installed all 4. Paid cash off Craigslist.

Magnetic oil drain plug. All stuff from FCP euro, did not buy a kit - just purchased separate items because it was cheaper. Added 5 quarts, so it’s a little over filled. Heck pictures for items and belly pan notes.

Got blinking glow plug light and engine light. Codes:: P2112 throttle actuator control system [172] stuck closed P2111 throttle actuator control system [172] stuck open P145F [167] mass air flow during regen too high P0401 [039] EGR system Insufficient flow Removed throttle assembly and cleaned. Blade was stuck, but with cleaning and lubrications, throttle blade worked as expected. Removed EGR valve assembly and cleaned. When removing oil cooler, about 1/2 quart oil drained out and I replaced when done. About 3 liters of coolant leaked out, and I replaced with Vaico VA-013 which is VW G13 compliant. 14.99 for 1.5 liters concentrate at NAPA in Alexandria, KY. Bought 2 1.5 liter containers and mixed 50/50 with distilled water and used almost one container mix (3liters) Remaining 3 liters of 60/50 mix is in VW coolant jug and marked. Paid online and got 20% discount for AAA and total cost was 26.00.
