About the oil pan. Fox pretty much has it right. They have an internal baffle inside that keeps all the oil from being thrown to the back under heavy acceleration. I believe some also have larger oil capacity but I haven't noticed mine needing more than 4 quarts each change. The aluminum might even transfer heat better than the stock pan. I don't know about that one, though.

I looked them up online and I saw them going for about $450. No way would I ever have spent that money myself, but it's a nice accessory to have. The previous owner did a real good job building this thing up.

Mileage is expected to drop about 9% in winter due to lower fuel quality and other factors.

Modifications: 270 Lbs ligher than stock, Endyn head rework, itr cams, adj. cam gears, blox IM, type one headers, straight thru 2.5" exh, rc 310cc inj, underdrive pulleys, ac removed, aluminum flywheel, cold induction tube, 62mm TB, all coolant lines divorced from IM, thermal IM gasket, tuned with Crome.
Octane/ fuel: 93, will be testing and re-tuning for 89 shortly
city vs hwy: 50/50 60 stop lights a day
mpg: 35 - 35.5 with minimal throttle

Considering a switchable fuel heater and 90 psi injector pressure. Obvoiusly, by looking at the mods, you'll see I didn't really have efficiency in mind, therefore I feel there is room to grow. My goal is to clear 40mpg hwy. I may have already done it - I never drive hwy.

I think that 40 mpg highway is definately within reason for you, how in the hell did you manage to drop 270 pounds?
