I wont' be driving it in the winter anyways so it doesn't really make sense to pay to get it fixed and then have it sit all winter.

Maybe I should start researching torque wrenches.

Has anyone figured out what kind of FE percentage can be gained by removing the AC system completely?

I pulled out my entire AC system and it has got to weight at least 40 lbs.

Yah, I mentioned it to him cause I pointed out the PCV catch can and the grill block.

He showed up in an 86 or 87 Civic and said he was getting about 40 mpg with that as his commuter car.
