i just snagged my 10W30 dino oil 5 qt jug for $12...

i just snagged my 10W30 dino oil 5 qt jug for $12 last night :P gotta et my delco filters and im good to go! (so nice having 2 cars that use same filter 3387A!!!FTW)

heh after 3K mines a very dark brown, almost black. but it turns colors within prolly 500 miles i notice it getting darker...

same with my s-10 thats got 142K on it, its only...

same with my s-10 thats got 142K on it, its only ever seen regular dyno oil and changed religiously at 3K. i fill it up with the same stuff, castrol GTX 5w-30 and doesnt burn any between changes...

i know someone who has over 300K on his s-10 and he only uses walmart dino oil and filters, BUT he changes it religiously every 3K.

Yes any modern oil is way better than what they had 20+ years...
