I didn't know you could direct swap a SOHC for a DOHC.... ...

I have looked through many threads, but find few that deal with the DOHC Saturn.

So:
I have a 96' SL2 with the DOHC 5-spd.
178k miles - I run castrol 10w30 with a smoke...
