OK shes up and running again. This took way more time then I thought it would. The EGR system is working, now its time to bring it into the picture and start doing some ABA testing.

I have the EGR system working now and ready to start tuning. I decided to fix the front fender and drivers side door. Its not a FE mod but it will make me feel a lot better when I start driving it...

One of the wires that goes into the injector clip had only three copper strands instead of around thirty that make up a normal wire.

We couldn't see it because the plastic injector plug was hiding...

At 60mph its at 2600rpm. The displacement is a 2.0L I4

1:16 Lambda? Its running at 1.55+ Lambda right now (22.8+ A/F) at these light loads around 20% T/P angle. But keep in mind that's its making...

This is one of those things that looks great on paper but didn't work in real world testing. As you said its just making a bunch more heat at the converter.
