Install hood pad. OEM from pelican. Used Teroson/MB glue #000-989-92-71-09. Interior noise at idle decreased 37%!

Adjusted WOT stop to make contact w/ linkage at WOT. Adjusted throttle linkage at bell crank to ensure accelerator pedal contacts stop at WOT.

Replace heater valve with new one from Mercedes. Replacement O rings for original not immediately known.

Replace hood release cable. Gemo #1238800159. Suspected leak into cabin under heavy rain was due to original hood release firewall grommet. Grommet was old but no visible crack or hole. New grommet greased w/ ac delco silicone grease.

Flushed out old green coolant from 2016. Filled with Zerex G05 and distilled water. Replaced radiator drain plug with Mahle piece and surge tank cap with Reutter piece.

Replace ac o rings, receiver/drier, pressure and temp sensors. Charge with r134a and add 1.75 oz of Pag100 oil (1oz for drier and extra because pipes seemed dry).

Set injection pump timing. Timing had been over advanced, engine would lug at low speed and lacked low end power. Set to Appx. 24 degrees using low pressure drip method.

Replace front brake hoses due to abrasive west on left front and dry rot. Ate 14.75” PN 1294280035ATE. Ate DOT4 fluid using modified pump method to bleed with reduced travel. Gravity bleed for rear.

Identified slow oil leak coming from rack limit plug. Used 3M weatherstrip/gasket adhesive on outside of plug to seal leak. Applied with Qtip.

Replace Becker 599 radio with Continental TR7412UB-OR, including DIN/ISO adaptor harness. Adapted harness to fit existing wires and ran jumper wires to add illumination and memory power.
