Replace rear speakers with Robert Fosgate R1525X2 5.25”. Existing speakers both inop. Had to make wiring harness to connect to existing speaker wires.

Replace sunroof rear seal while sunroof was out. Uro parts seal. Trimmed and glued. No rust underneath old one. Old seal crumbled on removal. Side seals and front seal should be replaced in future.

Replace sunroof felt slides. 3/4 missing, 1/4 damaged. Clean and regrease sunroof tracks with MB grease from Bergsma kit.

Rebuild manual shift mechanism. Disassemble shifter and replace all three internal bushings. Bushings are MB part numbers: 115-267-06-76 (trapezoidal washer) 115-267-22-50 (lateral damping bushing) 115-267-07-50 (“top hat” bushing) Cleaned parts and regressed with ACDelco silicone grease.

Inspect front and rear brakes. Front left missing Clevis pin from one caliper pin. Replaced with self made clip. Right rear: found source of low speed squeak. Removed and regreased caliper slide pins.

Mann filter: PF1055/1X She’ll Rotella T4 15w40 Filter was old stock from attic. Had visible surface rust on filter case appx postage stamp size. Wiped off with oil to remove loose dust.

Replaced front crank seal with Ed Koslowski. Coated exterior of MB Parts seal with Copper RTV because it was on hand. Old seal, Victor Reinz, lacked any exterior sealant and showed definite signs of leaking around perimeter. No leak at crankshaft. Had to remove balancer with elec impact. Installed new balancer pins. No leaks thru 35 miles.
