Re: We are experimenting with enabling user reputation.

I think after 2,000 posts then the reputation should be "user needs to get a life"

Re: We are experimenting with enabling user reputation.

we were all junior members and newbies at one time.

there is a lot to be said about the members that have been here for 4+ years that have less than 100 posts. there is one in particular (can't remember his name) that always has something insightful to say though he doesn't say much often. Kind of like the wise old owl that way. watching over the forum only putting in input when it is needed. I wonder if I am the babbling idiot that speaks all the time with a little substance mixed into all the garble and mumbo-jumbo

Your next promotion will kick in once you exceed 150 posts.

Hi! As a "newbie" here, my surfing skills ain't so great; I have lurked / read these many posts with great interest. There are soooo many of us gearheads out there in the consumer world. Smart, too!

I'm glad to see the open-minded view here. As a long-time survivor of the old(er) <MPGResearch> crowd, I've been ridiculed & flamed often... now I've come back to share with this crowd. This post may be in the wrong section... but here goes.... -Ted Hart
